To be active during the day, the body needs sufficient sleep. While we sleep, numerous metabolic processes (such as the breakdown, conversion and formation of substances) take place, helping us to perform well again the next day.

The “internal clock”, also known as the circadian rhythm, plays a major role in sleep patterns. The “sleep hormone” melatonin is released in greater quantities from early evening onwards and is an important regulator of the sleep-wake cycle.

Lifestyle factors (stress, blue light, shift work), challenging phases of life, hormonal changes or increasing age can throw our “internal clock” off balance, resulting in difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep.

Valerian Melatonin Capsules contain the “sleep hormone” melatonin combined with the proven herbal blend of valerian root and hop flowers.

Hop flower extract, bulking agent: pea fibre, capsule shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, valerian root extract, melatonin, vegetable oil (coconut, rapeseed)

Unless otherwise prescribed, take 1 capsule with sufficient liquid approximately one hour before going to bed.
