Alpha-lipoic acid plays a key role in cellular energy metabolism and is a cofactor for important enzyme systems in the body's own energy powerhouses, the mitochondria.

It supports the body as an effective antioxidant in combating harmful free radicals. Due to its chemical structure (soluble in water and fat), it can also cross the blood-brain barrier.

Alpha-lipoic acid is also capable of forming complexes with heavy metals.

Ingredients

Alpha-lipoic acid, bulking agent: pea fiber, capsule shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, vegetable oil (coconut, rapeseed)

Unless otherwise prescribed, take 1 capsule daily with liquid.
