Agaricus - Almond Mushroom

Agaricus (Agaricus subrufescens), also known as the almond mushroom, originally comes from Brazil, where it has been valued for centuries. It owes its name to its pleasantly mild, slightly almond-like aroma.

The mushroom naturally contains various constituents, including polysaccharides and beta-glucans. For the Zweihorn Agaricus Capsules, carefully selected fruiting bodies from high-quality cultivation are processed into a high-quality extract using a gentle manufacturing process, with a standardized content of 30% polysaccharides and 20% beta-glucans.

As a beneficial addition, the product contains vitamin C from high-quality Amla (Phyllanthus emblica). Amla is one of the fruits rich in vitamin C and provides, in addition to natural vitamin C, other plant-based constituents.

The Amla extract used is standardized to 50% vitamin C.

Vitamin C contributes

to the normal function of the immune system,

to normal energy-yielding metabolism and also helps
protect cells from oxidative stress.
